The reason I started building shutterbugstoreonline was my fascination and love of photography.  I got my start from my father and started developing my own pictures when I was in junior high school.  When my father died in1995, I inherited his equipment and picture collection of over 10,000, 35mm slides.  With the use of a scanner and computer, I made photographs out of many of the slides to share with friends and relatives who had never seen them.  

I have had many cameras over the years and have always enjoyed taking pictures and trying to be creative with my picture taking.  I never had a large budget for my equipment needs and it was critical for me to get the most I could for the money relative to what I wanted to do.  The difficulty was to compare features between cameras.  It was fairly easy to compare features between different models of the same manufacturer, but much more difficult between the different  brands.  That is exactly what I have attempted to do here.
